It is best to wait until your male is over 1 year old before you even consider using him for breeding. IF he is a good representative of the breed and IF he is healthy and free of genetic defects then you can think about using him. Also, make sure he has both his testicles. It is not easy breeding dogs and I find the tiny males are much harder to use. How much did his parents weigh? We would love to see pictures of him.
