You're doing wonderful. Tubing is a sure fire way to get it in them without the risk of aspirating. There are foolproof ways to be sure it's in the tummy and not lungs. How many days old are they? Regardless, they have to eat. If not they will get dehydrated and hypoglycemic and it's much harder to bring them back from that. The tube will not hurt them. Keep putting them to mom (has her milk come in yet?) and sup. afterwards. Be sure to pinch the tube as you pull it out of babies tummy so you won't get any dripping into the esophagus. Best wishes,
