Besides the sand sculpturees, there were also little carnival-type games for the kids to play, face painting, and a great story teller for the kids. He even got the kids in the action of his stories, which Emily really enjoyed. The event is free to the public, but they do take donations with proceeds going to the Childrens' Home in our area.
