Just wanted to remind yorkie newbies and seasoned owners alike to keep electrical cords out of reach, especially if a puppy is in the home. I have a buyer who basically found her puppy with voltage still running through his body on Thursday afternoon from a lamp cord he had chewed into. Please remember, puppies must be supervised or confined to an exercise pen for their own safety. The puppy is fine due to a quick thinking (CPR) and emergency care although he will have some lifelong gum deformities and hair loss.
