For the boiled peanuts....I am having trouble getting some green ones to boil. Californians don't do boiled peanuts. I found an on-line source of 8 pounds for about 28.00 but when I sent an inquiry via the website I received no response. I wish I still knew some peanut farmers.

Out here it is funny....many people have no idea that the peanuts are formed underground. They think they grow on peanut trees, I guess. My best friend didn't quite believe me when I told her that. She thought I was teasing.
Boiled peanuts are delicious! One of the few things I miss since I stopped eating meat are french fries dipped in chicken gravy and biscuits and sausage gravy. We southerners do like our gravy!
