Love Look Where We Went Today - **Warning CUTE Animal Pics**

Today we went to the Safari Park, I'd like to say it was for Amelia's benefit... but at 5months I guess it was for mine!

The day was really nice, bright and sunny... the car ride down, (about 2hrs) wasn't too bad, not much traffic on the road and stuff. We got to the Safari Park and there was practically no que which was great too! We went and parked in the car park so I could take Amelia out her car seat so she could ride round the park on my knee. We got her all settled on my knee... pulled out of the space... cars making a funny noise... BF gets out and looks at a flat tyre! He had the spare on within 10 minutes and we headed into the Safari Park.

I loved every animal... I can't even think where to start naming them all... I especially loved the White Tigers. There was two little cubs playing in a water pool so we stopped and watched them for a while, they were soooooo adorable! The White Lions were just stunning, I've seen them before but everytime I see them they take my breath away!

Amelia started getting a little fussy while we were watching the tigers so she got to dine in style and have her lunch while we drove through the Lion enclosure! (Another bonus of nursing!) Then she fell asleep! lol

After we'd drove round the 4miles of reserve we went and walked round the rest of the park.

We went in this room and it was really dark, warm and stinky! There was no signs outside to say what was in there and it was full of BATS! Luckily I love bats otherwise I could easily of been freaked out by the fact they were flying between people, over your head, darting past you... it was AWESOME! I just stood it awe watching them swoop, dive and flutter past.

Next we went to look at some Marine fish, insects and reptiles. The reptiles I didn't care much for, there was alot of snakes and spiders but I just diverted my eyes away from them. I saw a sign for a "Bird Eating Tarantula" and looked away incase I accidently caught a glimpse of it! I'm so brave! I did briefly look at the Amazon Anaconnda though because I was gobsmacked at it's size! It was in water and you could see it... the sign said it was 6ft long! My gosh! There was also some cockroaches, dragons, lizards, aligators and crocodiles.

After that we went to see the sealions... they were great. The train them tricks so that they stay active and fit and they knew sooooo many! The problem was though is right now the females were in season and there was a male in the pool so they kept getting distracted! lol. They were still great though. At one point one of the sealions covered his eyes and the show host asked what was wrong and the sealion pretended to whisper him something... he told us that she didn't want to go into the water because of the shark and then the other sealion swam round the pool on her side with one fin stuck out the water! lol. They also knew how to nod, jump, catch rings, throw a frisbee, speak and play dead. The teach them to play dead so that they get used to laying motionless so they can check their eyes, ears, fins and take bloods if needed... smart idea.

I could go on and on and on about the day we had... everything was sooo much fun! Amelia was wiped out! I wanted you all to see all the photos I took today, there is a TON - so I uploaded them all to dropshots and I'll post a few on here too...

Here are the White Tigers though, I had to give them their own little montage cuz I just loved them... watch how cute they are in the video playing in the water, I love when one stands up on it's back legs and then lunges... ohhh and the way they pull each others ears too! Look at the last photo I captured... it's sooo cute... in fact I'll post it here...

Can you tell my excitement hasn't worn off yet! I'm like a kid!
