Durian...I forgot to say that I have heard of this fruit. I was watching a show on exotic foods and this one was on there. They said it is forbidden for it to be in the hotels and certain other public areas because of the odor from it.

When I was a child and it was slaughter time, I would come home to a place that 'reeked' of the chitlin' cooking process. It made me gag. There was no respite anywhere else either. Every relative was cooking the same thing. I would just stay outside for as long as possible.

My mom at lots of 'weird' stuff like that. Including, but not limited to, pickled pigs feet. Oooooohhhh my gosh!! I couldn't be around to eve see that!
