Ok, Im about to purchase a male who weighs approx 1 lb at 9 weeks from a woman. He is AKC registered and current on all shots, tails and claws are done, and parents are on site. She claims to she has been breeding for 5 years. What concerns me is that she has about 3 other yorkies and the chance for diseases are there. She said she offers a 48 hour return, meaning that if the dog gets ill or health is in risk she will issuse a full refund with the return of the dog and a written Doctors note. Incubation periods range from 1 day to 14 days. This means he can bring something from over there and show no symptoms until 2 weeks after I bring him home. Which will leave me responsible. I dont mind taking care of him but shouldnt the breeder know this and be responsible up until 2 weeks for any diseases? What should I do? Thanks everyone!!!
