The Chas Co Humane Society has a "wish" book...people put their names in it hoping to find a certain breed...I have contacted people in the past when trying to find the perfect home for a rescue or retired dog...meet several long time friends that way...Dawn Nevitt used to work there and she was very helpful. I think she moved to Calvert, but may still work in Chas CO...you can also contact the YT club of the Nations capitol..they have a rescue and rehoming service. |
