ive been taking me almost 6 month old in the pool since she was about 4 months. she seems to like to float around more than swimming for the time being . shell swim a bit but then i feel like she might be cold going back on her raft so i just take her in and give her a bath. i think if they have too much hair maybe it would weigh them down?? though that never held my shih tzu back from jumping in the pool the moment anyone went in
