LOL. Sorry that Zoey was attacked. Understand your distress. My two senior girls aren't any better. They are cranky with any other dog that comes in their sight. I am very careful that I have them pulled back tight on their leashes when another dog is around so they don't get something started. Don't even trust my own furbabies. Both have issues from their start in life, so I try to not get too upset with them.
