You should feed her a pea size amount of nutrical by letting her lick it off your finger. And if she is getting frequent hypo attacks, you should be giving her the nutrical every couple of hours.
Next, you should add a little of Karo Syrup to her water bowl, this will also aide in keeping up her blood sugars during the day.
Now food. Pedigree is not a great food, sorry to say
Most food that you can buy at a supermarket, walmart etc...are poor quality
If you can find a 'mom n pop' type of pet store that would be great, they have better selections.
I would recommend any of the following:
Canidae
Wellness
Solid Gold
Merrick
Natural Balance
Nature's Variety
