Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I have been jokingly told that I don't read books, I devour them.
It's true, I guess. I am a fast reader and find it difficult to disengage. It has annoyed many people in my life.
I like to write, too. I also write annoying little poems. Well...funny...to me.
AND....The newspaper crossword is MINE! Some only realize that when they take the puzzle. They only do it once. My husband used to get it and put the goofiest answers in and 'make' it work. He leaves it alone now. He has found it is necessary for his safety to do so.
I don't have to worry about the cryptograms. Nobody else wants them.
