Oh, Diana, I'm sorry you're having to put up with someone who clearly doesn't know how to communicate with dogs. I'm guessing too that he probably locks little Franklin up LONG after the poo already occurred - which will teach Franklin nothing. I don't know what the solution is, but, it's really tough - bc I think you really need to have a big conversation w/ this person - mostly bc he is going to confuse the heck out of Franklin during a really important learning phase of his life.
Problem is, this room mate doesn't sound like someone who wants to learn about *how* dogs learn, so....? Is there any way you could find a different person to live with?
