Oh my God he is darling! You are soo lucky to get a rescue one and he is the luckiest dog in the world! As for lifting the leg, my friend had a male, and she bought something that went around his bell and pulled his you know what to his stomach so he could'nt go until she left him out. She said it worked wonderfully! Saw them at Dr's Foster's and Smith.
