While I do think Natural Balance Potato and Duck is a good food for adults I am not sure I would recommend it for a four month old puppy. The Potato and Duck is 21% protein and the main ingredient is potatoes which could account for more poop. I think Natural Balance Ultra Premium Small Bites might be a better choice or Solid Gold Wee Bits or Chicken Soup puppy. I wish you the best of luck with your baby.
