The world we live in is so sad and cruel sometimes. I am just in shock that this could happen.

About a year ago i was driving back from getting Daisy's meds from a downtown pharmacy and was driving and seen a very elderly lady take a nasty fall off the curb into the gutter. I had my 6 yr old son (at the time) with me i immediatly pulled over and we ran to assist her. 2 colledge boys got there just before i did and they picked her up. She was banged up really bad it was a nasty fall i am pretty sure she broke her arm and she hurt her hip. This woman was covered in mud and she was also very disoriented she didn't know where she was or what was going on. We cleaned her up and got her a chair from a local business while we were waiting for the ambulance. But i tell you not 1 other person stopped to help us. I wanted to teach my son that if someone is in trouble you stop to help and i think it really hit him. he felt bad for the lady but he was very proud he helped her (he retrieved her purse and held it for her). I am ashamed of society and their carelessness anymore. Everyone is out for themselves and it is really sad
