 Hydroxyzine
Took Max to the vet yesterday because he has been very itchy, sneezy, etc. lately. Vet said it was probably allergies and put him on Hydroxyzine, 10 mg, 2x per day (did not mention allergy testing). I just read on the internet this medication can cause seizures in dogs. Yikes. Max has only taken 4 pills and is still scratching albeit less. Should I have him allergy tested and if so do all vets have the ability to allergy test or is this a specialty?
