Just wanted to let you know about our last visit to the vet for Maggie's rabies vaccination in case this info is useful to you too.
In May, Maggie had her distemper vaccine and was sick for a few days. When I mentioned this to the vet during her last trip for the rabies vac the vet said it may have been an allergic reaction. SO, this time the vet gave her a bit of benedryl first - then the rabies vac. This was the BEST vet visit yet and there was no crying, reactions, side effects, etc.!!
I had read a few posts on YT about bad reactions to the rabies vaccine and I was worried Maggie might have a bad time with it - I almost thought of postponing the vaccine until she was a little bigger. Anyway, it was a great visit and I wanted to share that tip with YT.
