I just love to hear a story with a happy ending! Too many sad ones out there. I will never understand how some people just discard their dogs but in your case I have to say it sounds like a blessing for Chippy. I'm sure he is so grateful that he can finally chew his food without pain. 14 teeth! That's a lot!
Probably one of the reasons he was so skinny. I think you were meant to find him if all those people ahead of you changed their minds. Good for you!
