I've had Scooter for about a year now, and I took him to get groomed ONE TIME at Petsmart and was so mad I wouldn't take him to another groomer.

They did NOTHING and I paid $40! He did not look different at all!!!! I was so mad!

So anyway, a local groomer contacted me for some training info on a foster pup she has, and I asked if she'd be willing to trade her grooming skills for training, and she said yes!

So...yesterday was Scooter's first groom with Kate and she did exactly what I wanted! He's clean, has a great puppy cut, had his nails trim, and looks groomed!!!! I was so excited!!!

Am I the only one who shied away from groomers based on one bad experience?

(I've been trimming his hair myself since that first bad experience...)
