Mac is 12-1/2 weeks old now and his ears do not stand up. When should I consider trimming the hair on his ears? I've never done that sort of thing - do I take him to a groomer to do it?

Should I put Dr Scholl's Moleskin on his ears after trimming them? Does the Moleskin pads stick by themselves or do I need an adhesive?
