I know I'm new to having my baby, but I love her more than anything. She is one of my kids, and I treat her like one of my kids. I would never flick one of my kids noses. I realize everyone is different, but I wouldn't do it. I spanked Mia with a empty envelope one day for peeing in front of me and it broke her heart. She cried for two hours. I felt so BAD... I haven't done it since.. Yorkies are so TENDER HEARTED. You could alter your babies entire personality for flicking the nose. Please don't do that... Have a stern voice with short word commands. I would crate the dog in a different room if I were you. Take your baby out to pee and then crate her. Then you will know she doesn't need to use the potty. You have to remember their bladders are really small and they can't hold it as well as a larger puppy. I don't want to hurt your feeling, but seems like you don't have much patience with your puppy. Ever since we got Mia, we have been getting up with her at 6:00. We don't like it much either, but she is our baby and we do what we have to, and usually she will go back to sleep or me or my husband gets up with her. They are like babies and when they're ready to get up, thery're ready. Anyway I hope I helped and I dhope you don't hate me. Yorkies are for yorkie lovers and you may not be a yorkie person. I also have a sheltie who will sleep as long as we sleep and never, ever complains. Best dog in the world and nothing at all like my Mia..
