Yikes! You should have not picked the most active puppy!
He will be wanting to be on the go more than a calmer pup.
This means that he will probably pick up the time change issue more than some other dogs.

I suggest making sure that the room he sleeps in is completely dark. (You can get black out curtains to help with this) so that he can't easily see when the sun is up.
