Wonderful that you rescued a senior. Charlie is 11, and came to live with me last year. I also had major dental for Charlie and he has just a few teeth in the back of the lower jaw. He is fed Orijen kibble (measured, placed in plastic container with lid, covered with water and soaked overnight in the refrigerator). That is his entire kibble for the next day for two meals. I warm up the pre-soaked kibble with wet food and he never misses cleaning the entire bowl.

So much easier on their mouth, and he should feel much better once the diseased teeth are gone. Welcome to Yorkie Talk and look forward to success for your new pup.
