Your puppy's weight isn't on the weight chart but I'll guess around 7-8lbs. Franklin weighed around 3.5lbs-4lbs at 12 weeks and he's 10.4lbs now at 8 months! She's definitely not gaining weight too fast - puppies grow leaps and bounds in the first few months of life. I honestly believe puppies should be free-fed until around 6 or 7 months of age. Yorkies are too small to withhold food from. I also don't really believe there's anything as a "fat" puppy but I don't really know much about that, I guess.

Diana is right! BUT if you go to the thread where it asks people how big their pups were at 12 weeks and how big they are now.. you'll see the range of weights. Some have weighed over 2 lbs at 12 weeks and dont' get bigger than 5- 6 lbs... different yorkies grow at different rates!
