It's hard to predict the size of any given Yorkie. While the parents are a good indicator, sometimes a puppy can be way smaller or way bigger than it's parents.

Your puppy's weight isn't on the weight chart but I'll guess around 7-8lbs. Franklin weighed around 3.5lbs-4lbs at 12 weeks and he's 10.4lbs now at 8 months! She's definitely not gaining weight too fast - puppies grow leaps and bounds in the first few months of life. I honestly believe puppies should be free-fed until around 6 or 7 months of age. Yorkies are too small to withhold food from. I also don't really believe there's anything as a "fat" puppy but I don't really know much about that, I guess.
