When I measure by fingers from her occipital (spelling)? down to her tail, the length of her back is exactly as it should be, ....so really it's legs that need some legth, but if they don't get length, the back will appear longer than it should or legs more appropriately are too short

We'll wait and see. She's worth waiting on at this point for sure.
