Carter hated anything to do with me brushing his teeth. Now -- he comes to me easily to have his teeth brushed. I think the poultry flavored toothpaste has something to do with it now. My husband is absolutely amazed at our teeth brushing ritual!
Carter was 7 months old when he was neutered. His 4 canines were pulled at the same time. You won't believe how quickly the permanent canines move into place.
It will be tons easier once there is no double teeth to worry about. The fuzz won't get stuck anymore. Perhaps pick up the tennis balls until after the teeth are gone.
Before Carter's double teeth were pulled, he could manage to get the regular sized tennis balls in his mouth to retrieve. Now that the teeth were pulled, he can only roll them around. He is only able to retrieve his smaller tennis balls.
