DON'T listen to the vet. With my first yorkie litter ever the runt had all four legs spread out and didn't crawl or walk. The vet I have said the mussels were not fully developed and to help the puppy work them. Xrays showed nothing else wrong. The vet assistant had said Oh Dr. Lamp had to put a puppy down last week with a spine issue. Thank goodness this wasn't the case with this puppy.
He was up and walking at just over 5 weeks but was wobbly. He was fine like nothing happened at 6 months.
Do the xray to verify it is nothing that can be fixed. If there is no pain then I'm sure someone would want the puppy anyway. |
