The vet didn't even see her walk. The pup was so scared (from being away from littermates etc.) that she just stayed in one place and shook. The vet said she was born with this and that from feeling the legs the back ones didn't seem to be right. She probably can't overcome this and won't have a good life if left to live like this. Maybe something in the spine that isn't just right or may not ever know exactly.
I'm going to give it a few days. She doesn't seem to be in pain. It just pains me to think of what I may have to end up doing. The vet said she's sure it won't get better with time.  |
Did the vet do x-rays? I definitely would either take her back and demand that they x-ray her, or find another vet that will. I don't see how they could make a diagnosis without an x-ray.
