Initially Sophie wasn't supposed to be allowed in the bed with us either but that didn't last long. She was just to cute to resist. I have a pic of her snuggled with her Daddy that I would love to show you but I would really like to stay married. LOL
Sophie does sleep in a crate from about 11:30 at night until 6:00 in the morning. Then she gets in between us and sleeps under the cover with her head on my pillow. It is so cute. Maybe that is what you and your hubby can do if he doesn't want them in the bed all night.
