i think if your heart can handle the heart break if she shows symptomes and if you can afford the medical care then go for it. lacey has mvd and has symptomes like ls dogs and there are pleanty of days i feel so sorry for her. today is a really bad day but for a couple of months she was doing fine. its a roller coaster ride at times. i wouldnt give her up for anything, she is the sweetest dog and has the best personality
