You def need to study up on what's going on but seriously...that could take weeks. hahaha seriously though, SO MUCH has happened, even I who have watched every episode twice or more sometimes forgets some things that have happened. Atleast study up on the make ups break ups and everything that happened with Big and Carrie's relationship...
Other than that, I don't know, you could still enjoy the movie but I feel like people who have watched the series would enjoy it more.
