It wouldn't actually be that he "didn't do well in one subject"..... this is a standardized required test that is dictated by legislation (if it's the same kind that Texas has) for a student to pass certain grades.

I do wonder if exceptions can be made for his disabilities OR if since it sounds like he's in mainstream classes, he has to follow the same guidelines.
