Zoe had been feeling good these past few days, but yesterday she wasn't quite as spry, she'd still run to the door when someone came in. This am she started pacing again. Just wanted me to pick her up and then wanted down to walk some more. Took her to vet and before we got there she is all wet around her mouth and face (15 min drive). When I looked down at her she was glassy eyed.
His guess is she has the "liver shunt" problem. Est. cost for diagnosis and surgery at a specialist is up to 10,000$. I have to leave on Sun and be gone till the 15th on a trip with my dau and 2 grand dau flying to Fl and I can't back out on them, we've planned this for months. It's killing me.
Do you think it would be a successful surgery and how expensive was it.
