You only add water and raw meat, they recommend USDA beef, chicken or turkey (ground or whole from the grocery store or butcher, or frozen meat patties sold in your local pet store).

My friend feeds the Europa mix, Ingredients: Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Broccoli, Celery, Apples, Whole Egg, Flax Meal, Parsley Leaf, Calcium Carbonate, Carob Powder, Kelp Powder, Alfalfa, Ginger Root, Garlic.

"Why is it so important to soak the Sojos® mixture?

Soaking improves digestibility. Cats and dogs have a strong but short digestive tract designed to quickly break down and absorb foods. Grains and vegetables require more complex digestion than meats, fresh fruits, and other foods so having them soak in water at least 15-30 minutes for the European Style Mix or Monzie's, and at least 1 hour for the Europa is critical to the success of the Sojos diet. Soaking overnight in the fridge or for at least a half day is ideal."

This information is coming from their website.

My friend's yorkie LOVES it.

There are no fillers.

We are currently feeding Natural Balance sweet potatoe and salmon. Plus we cook either a lamb chop, chicken breast or steak, cut it up and mix a spoonful in with the Natural Balance.

We seem to be moving to a more holistic approach for our girl, because she is being watched for allergies.

I do recommend visiting their web site as there seems to be lots of good information and resources.

After seeing the sojo's, I think I may try it.
