I would want to stack the dog on the table and go over him with my hands. I want to see that tail come off right on top, no dip and then the tail. Then I would want to see the dog gaited. I want to see good flowing movement, not choppy. The topline should remain level and tail should be up. I like to see a nice reach when gaiting and good strong rear movement and push.I do not want to see him being strung up by the lead while he is gaiting. I want to see a loose lead. He has to have a good reach/length of neck, not a short neck where the head is stuck right on top of the shoulders, nor should the neck be too long. I want over-all balance! I dont want a short legged, long bodied dog or a beautiful square dog with no neck. Then I want a beautiful head with small up-right ears and an alert expression!! Gotta have silk!! Beautiful dark blue and shaded tan would just take me over the top, but I can live with a lighter color blue as long as conformation is correct. I would ask the breeder about health issues and would want to see the pedigree. I would like to look at siblings or older dogs from the same breeding and the parents. Ok, I WANT A PERFECT YORKIE!
