I think if she has a wiry coat you need to cut her down to the area of growth that is not broken off then you will see an improvement in the hair.I have one that is wiry and he is a breeze to care for and the hair is beautiful but I am told it will never reach floor length.that is ok because it is gorgeous.I put a little oil(any hair oil) on the coat when I blow dry and I know you might think this is weird but blow dry on cool only as with heat setting it makes the skin dry and itchy and she will only be cold for a moment but its better for the coat.( a great breeder here told me to cut him down and I am so glad she did he looks like a different pup)
