I'm so sorry to hear about your little one. Maybe the breeder can pay half or all of the medical expenses instead of replacing your puppy? I know a lot of animal shelter in New York (Manhattan) can do those type of operations for less money then a regular vet. I see that you live in PA. I live in Brooklyn, NY (we're not that far from each other by car). If you want help looking into an animal shelter in NY that performs surgery on luxated patellas and prices, please let me know and I will do some research for you.

By the way, my Codie has his rear left leg operated on because he had a severe luxated patella. He's doing great and FULLY recovered!
