[YORKIE_mom_2008]

Ok yesterday I was driving (I have my learners) home in the dark with my mom and my sister and all of a sudden a cougar bolted across the highway right in front of me! I didn't even have time to hit the brakes. fortunatly it was fast! at first we thought it might have been a deer but its limbs were much thicker and cougars have a very distinctive gait. But now I am afraid to have my akita / black lab out of sight, let alone my little koda! I am SO WORRIED!
P.S We did report it of course, as it was right beside a sheep/cattle farm.
