My little guy had crystals in his urine last year and like you my vet wanted to put him on prescription Science diet. He also was on meds. I did not like the idea of any of it so I pulled him off and started feeding Canidae wet. I wanted to find something that would help him in a more natural way. I came across Solid Gold Berry Balance. It's a powder that is nothing more than cranberries and blueberries. To start out I sprinkled it on his food twice a day and then went to once a day. For Odie it has worked.
