Shaving the ears first, I use masking tape to tape them. You can either leave the ears flat and place a piece of tape on the front and back of them OR fold the ear vertically and place a piece of tape around it. I then tape the two ears together as the weight of the tape can make them lean to the side. I normally leave them on for 2-3 days then off for a few, then if needed, I redo the steps again.
I've done it with two of my yorkies; had success both times. With Lexie, it took about 2-3 weeks, but I only had to leave Halle's ears taped for 1 1/2 days and they were up! | That looks just like my Lilly did with her ears taped. We taped them for a few days, only because her right ear flopped slightly at the very tip. They were perfect after that.
