I am not at home right now, but maybe someone else has the recipe for the pudding from Terri Shumsky. This is very nourishing and almost all dogs love it.

PUDDING
FROM THE BOOK " HOWTO BUY AND RAISE A GOOD HEALTHY DOG " BY TERRI SHUMSKY
MIX IN A SAUCE PAN AND COOK TO PUDDING CONSISTENCY, OR DIVIDE RECIPIE IN HALF FOR A SMALLER QUANITY.
2/3 CUP SUGAR ,
6 TABLESPOONSCORNSTARCH
1/2 TEASPOON SALT
4 CUPS MILK , OR 1 CAN EVAPORATED MILK WITH EQUAL PARTS WATERTO MAKE A QUART.
4 EGG YOLKS
3 TEASPOONS VANILLA.
FEED WITH A SYRINGE, SPOON OR IN A BOWL.
FULL OF PROTEIN AND VERY NOURISHING.
(HAS NEVER CAUSED DIARRHEA)

When I saw his little poor face I possibly couldn't say no! Bailey has been starved for several weeks and is completely undernourished, he also has the most awful teeth I have ever seen. So, the problem is he won't eat sufficient to build up weight-he obviously has terribble pains while eating. It doesn't help that he also is the most fussy eater I have ever seen! Thought my girl is bad enough, but he is impossible. Bought every quality puppy food available, cooked at least 10 different homecooked meals- he only takes a bit of roast beef in gravy with rice. Anyway, I'm getting seriously worried now, don't know what else to offer him. He will have his dental surgery next Monday, but don't know if he will survive it if he doesn't eat!! Please, need some ideas asap!!
