You should skip your female puppies first heat, which in my Yorkie's case was 7 months. Keep her in a diaper the whole time she is in heat until the swelling goes completely down so your male doesn't get to her until her second heat. My Yorkie's second heat just came today, which is a little over 9 months from the first heat. |
