My "anorexic" dog tears around the park chasing birds and tennis balls while the overweight dogs lay in the shade, panting! My Ella Bean at 2 1/2 lbs can run faster (and often does) then her much larger (heavier) counterparts.

And kudos on the sleek cats. There isn't anything more beautiful then a sleek, lean cat leaping up onto some high place. We have come to accept fat cats and pudgy pups as the norm!!
