Would he take Complan or one of the other liquid foods you can get from the chemist or health food shops, do you think?
They're made for invalids with poor appetites so are supposed to be very nourishing & easy to take.
Just an odd suggestion this, but a friend of mine took on an old rescued yorkie a few years ago & he would eat nothing at all but tinned frankfurter sausages from the supermarket. He especially preferred the cheapest own brand sort from Asda, cost about 12p a tin, as they were all he'd ever been fed by his previous owner!
He had bad teeth & the sausages were very soft having been sat in water in the can, better than nothing I suppose, but she very gradually weaned him onto better food. |
