and I NEVER use cooling spray. I would say you should buy a second blade to switch off when the first one starts to get warm.
You could burn your dogs tender skin with a blade that gets too hot. I always touch the blade to the inner part of my arm to check the temp. When it is warm I change the blade.
Cooling sprays are not good for the life of the blades and I believe they are dangerous for humans who might inadvertently inhale some of the spray...JMHO...

The lube oil came with our clippers and we bought blade wash and the cooling spray, but I'm not totally clear on the correct process either! |
