I was going to add this to our social group - but I'll put it here, and then maybe there too
I know a lot of people are excited about the shopping at Country Club Plaza or wondering what is there, so I thought those who have shopped there before could maybe comment on their favorite stores, that are unique to the Plaza or the KC area.
My favorite jewelry store EVER is Vinca -- I'm not sure if the same man owns it, but I have a beautiful opal & diamond ring that I got here. At the time, the man running the store, spent half the year in the mines himself, selecting the stones, and the other half of the year designing jewelry.

I also like Halls - a department store - I think the only one on the Plaza now, because is Saks gone ?
I also like a great glass of lemonade from Topsy's Popcorn Shoppe
It seems like very time I go to the Plaza there are more and more chain stores, some I like, but I do appreciate the uniqueness of the local stores.

Also, I just checked to see what events were going on over at the Crown Center - and for those who love antiques there is a big antique show that weekend
