Default Puppies and Groomers

My yorkie will be 12 weeks tomorrow. I've had her since she was 9 weeks (and I have since learned that was a bit too young, but I digress). She's still waiting on her last round of shots because she developed Kennel cough and is currently on Clavamox(a couple of more days and she's done). My vet recommended waiting for the shots since she's so young and didn't want to stress her with it. But her nails are getting long! She keeps getting caught in pillows, blankets, any type of fabric. I'm too scared to trim them myself but I'm also concerned about taking her to a groomer so early especially not having had all of her shots. Is it ok to just get her nails trimmed for the time being? And how soon can I take her to get the full shabang? Her ears need to be trimmed too. I feel like they should be standing up on their own by now.
